How Much Fat are We Talking Here?
One must understand that, within such a short time frame, there is a limited amount of body fat that can be lost. Particularly, in a healthy and productive manner.
So, if you have a lot of lower belly fat to lose, there’s a very high chance that it won’t all be gone in this two weeks. It will be reduced, surely, but you won’t have completely chiseled abs or anything or that sort.
So, how much fat loss can occur? Well, not only is the total fat loss amount limited, it also won’t all come from the midsection. You cannot just pick one area on your body and command it to get rid of its fat.
Rather, it is a gradual process, from the fat storage on the entire body. Once again, the fat on the gut, won’t be entirely gone per se…but it will be reduced by some amount.

From my experience, the fastest way that I ever reduced the size of my stomach was by using carbohydrate cycling.
This is where you lower your carbohydrate intake for between 1-3 days and then have a high carbohydrate re-feed day.
So, for instance: Monday through Wednesday, I would consume less than 100 grams of carbs each day. Then, Thursday, I’d go in the 250-300 gram range. Friday-Sunday, would be back to the low carbs.
This really reduces the bloat and if you have your calories in line, you start to burn through your fat stores pretty quickly. Thus, a flatter stomach. Is it fun? Nope, but it works.
Is that the Best Method?
Nowadays, I’m much less focused on trying to lose weight quickly. If I need to lose fat, I’d rather it be sustainable in the long-term, rather than, just a fast fix.
I’d simply just figure out how many calories I need to consume to stay at my current weight. Then, begin to reduce that number in order to be in a deficit, and burn the fat off.
With online calorie calculators or phone apps, this has become super simple to implement. Plus, you get to gradually adjust to being in a caloric deficit, and not feel miserable on a low carb or other ‘faster’ diet.
This way still gets rid of the belly fat, just usually slower, but your life is much more enjoyable with this method.

What About Exercise?
Yes, adding exercise will greatly enhance the ability to lose fat quickly. However, it is completely useless, if your diet isn’t in order. People will often workout but not really lose much, as they are still consuming too many calories.
Once the diet is in order though, the exercise is like a turbo boost for fat loss. You don’t even have to go insane with it and work out for hours on end…that’s not productive and kind of useless too.
