Weight gain and fat storage is a problem that many women contend with. Depending on the person, they can have excess fat on the inner thighs, or covering a number of areas on their body. How does one get rid of this flab? What can you eat to lose the fatty thighs and slim down that area of the legs?
What Foods Should You Eat to Burn Inner Thigh Fat?
The fact of the matter is that, it isn’t necessarily which foods that you eat. It is more of a factor of how many calories you’re taking in each day.
So, let’s say, if you need to consume 2000 net calories per day (calories eaten-exercise) to maintain your current weight.
Cutting that number to 1750 per day and eating junk food, would still cause you’re body to tap into fat storage, and thus lose fat.
Now, that’s a terrible idea for health reasons, but the point still stands. Also, it is much easier to stick to a calorie restricted diet, on more natural foods as they tend to have fewer calories per volume versus junk food.
The foods you should eat regardless of trying to lose fat or not, are non-processed ones, with actual nutritional value. You know: fruits, veggies, lean cuts of meat, legumes, etc.
Stay away from sugary drinks and alcohol. Avoid fried foods. Just general junk food. Again, you can lose weight while eating these things, it just has to be measured out completely. And because they have so many calories, you don’t get to eat as much, versus eating more natural whole foods.
How to Determine How Many Calories to Eat for Burning Inner Thigh Fat
One must also understand, fat loss is not going to just occur on the inner thighs. Rather, the body will draw on fat storage from across the body. Now, if for whatever reason, the thighs is where most is stored then it very well might pull from that area.
Just don’t expect it to be all inner thigh fat loss. The process can take a bit of time, so have patience. A solid pace for fat loss is 1-3 pounds per week. So, if only the thighs are a real problem area, getting rid of the extra shouldn’t take that long. But, just don’t expect results overnight.
The easiest way to determine how many calories that we need to lose weight, is by first determining, how many we need to stay the same. Then, reducing that number.
Thanks to technology, we can now easily accomplish this with, a simple app on our phones or computers. Just download any fitness app, type in the info it asks you for, and it will spit out a number. Then, select the weight loss pace, that you want to set.
From there, just track what you eat, and hit the numbers that it tells you. Simple enough, no?
What About Exercises for Inner Thigh Flab?
Fat loss is mostly about the diet. If you don’t stick to the amount of net calories that are required to lose the excess, no amount of working out will make a difference.
However, being consistent with a diet, an acceleration of results may occur with proper workouts. Again, you cannot spot reduce, and just do exercises for your thighs and expect to lose fat there…it won’t work.
What exercise will do, is allow you do burn the calories faster, and with weight lifting you can add shape, size, etc.
When I’m in fat loss mode, the cardio program that I use, is called Visual Impact Cardio. It’s an intense, progressive, and flat out effective way to shred fat fast.
VI Cardio is an ebook program by fitness trainer Rusty Moore, that gets sent directly to your email, so you can get started right away. He’s been creating amazing body transformations, with his online programs, for decades.
There are 3 different levels (beginner through advanced), which each last 8 weeks. Though, you will probably have the results you want before the end of the beginner’s program.
It can be absolutely brutal sometimes, but the workouts usually burn between 500-800 calories per session, for me. Pair that, with hitting those caloric numbers on the regular, and some weight lifting and the body becomes a fat burning machine.
No need to worry, though, it’s all laid out how to do it. If you do want to undertake this program, I’d advise switching up between machines (treadmill, elliptical, stair master, or bike) AND taking rest days, when you feel you need it.
Trust me, it can be really difficult at times, and you will need to pace yourself. You don’t need to be perfect to lose fat, just consistent.
